Tokyo - Pages, screens and pop-ups | Screen creation and setup
Screen are used as content sections or subsections within a page. A page must contain at least one screen.
Content components are added inside each page (texts, audio files, videos, surveys, etc.). See here
Create a screen
When we create a page, we will always have a previously created screen (See how to create pages in here). In order to add a new screen, we should:
- Select the page from the breadcrumb trail.
- Access the "Add" tab.
- Go to "Insert inside" and click on "Screen".
The screen will be added at the bottom of the page. If there are other screens within the page, this screen will appear after them.
If we want to add a screen below an existing screen, we should:
- Select the screen from the breadcrumb trail.
- Go to "Add" tab and then to "Insert after".
- Click on "Screen". The new screen will be added right after the page we selected.
When creating a screen, we can choose different presets or previous settings that will help us to edit contents.
In order to configure screen properties, we select the screen clicking on it directly or on the breadcrumb trail. Then we can go to "Properties" tab and set up screen parameters.
Each type of screen has different properties:
TYPE OF SCREEN
|Cover screens |
There are three types of cover screens. Each type has specific properties.
|Content screens |
Content screens offer the same properties, no matter what presets are available.
