Fix an event in MS Outlook Agenda

Davide Palummo 12 months ago updated by Ntx Support (Customer support agent) 12 months ago 1

Dear Support,

A client is asking to have an automatic calendar appointment in the MS Outlook of the users related to some LMS event (trigger). For istance if Mr.X is enrolled to a course starting in date Y and finishing in date Z they would like that in Mr. X
Outlook Calendar will be fixed the two dates (starting and finishing).

I know I can use the notification “A student has been enrolled in a course” set as “send by email” and also to have this information on the internal calendar of learningLMS but this is not enough for the client.

Could you help me on this?

Hi,

We are sorry to know that you are having doubts in one of our platforms, but we think that the following information can help you to solve it.

You can have automatic calendar appointments thanks to the iCal in the notifications. The ical is a file set on the mails that allows you to create a calendar appointment and also import your personal calendar from gmail, outlook, etc.

If you want, you can check more information about the iCal by following this link:

Also, we want to know if we can transfer this doubt to our public forum, there it will be helpful to other users and they could comment on the solutions provided.
If personal or company names and corporate images or signatures appear, they will be deleted or anonymized using terms such as user or client.
If you give us your permission we will be happy to make it visible in the appropriate forum.
