SEE STUDENTS' QUALIFICATIONS

Hello

When our students do a scorm activity, we need to be able to see the exact score they have obtained. To do this, in the scorm settings we are setting  evaluative tracking (it depends on the note obtained) but on the platform we are not able to achieve anything other than Passed or Not Passed. Is there any way that we can see the note obtained? we've tried several configuration options and reports but we didn't get it.

Para que se pueda ver la puntuación debería de estar seleccionada la siguiente opción:

Al seleccionarla, pedirá además una puntuación mínima para superar el curso. De ese modo, la puntuación que se obtenga en las actividades aparecerá en la pestaña Alumnos, así como en los informes del curso

Time record in LMS live events

Dear Support,


A client using learningCloud LMS, is asking if the platform record the time a user attends to a webconference activity .

In particular they have to use their corporate MS Teams to manage the live session.

Improvement request. Ability to review activities of a course after it has met the finish date.

Good morning.

Our users need to be able to access the content of the completed courses to consult and refresh information that applies to their daily work. However, the platform does not allow you to launch completed course units.

I suggest that users be able to view the content as long as the course is not in the Finished state, even if the end date has been met. In case the status is Finished, they won't be bale to launch the course. In this way, we have the option to choose the desired behavior.

Actualmente cuando un curso no está finalizado pero se ha superado su fecha de fin, se siguen pudiendo lanzar las actividades de tipo fichero, video y enlace, a pesar de que las acciones formativas estén finalizadas (en este caso no se aumentan los números de accesos ni las fechas)

Tendremos en cuenta la sugerencia de mejora para permitir lanzar también las actividades de tipo Scorm para su revisión, comportándose del mismo modo que los demás tipos de actividades, sin actualizar el seguimiento en estos casos.

Response from the development department.

Currently, when a course is not completed but has passed its end date, you can still launch the activities of type file, video and link, despite the training actions are completed (in this case no increase in access numbers or dates)

We will take into account the suggestion for improvement to allow us to also launch Scorm-type activities for review, behaving in the same way as other types of activities, without updating the monitoring in these cases.

El seguimiento que aparece reflejado en las acciones formativas de las actividades puede ser reseteado por cualquier usuario administrador, no tiene que ser realizado por el superadmin. 

En cuanto a la consulta acerca del expediente, hay que tener en cuenta que solo aparecen en el expediente los cursos que están en estado finalizado en la plataforma, por lo que mientras estén es ese estado no se puede resetear el seguimiento que aparece en la acción formativa; para ello habría que reabrir el curso/acción formativa y resetear el seguimiento. Al hacerlo el curso dejaría de aparecer en el expediente del alumno y volvería a estar en la Formación Activa.

The student's tracking you will find in the Sessions can be reseted by any administrator user, it doesn't have to be done by the superadmin.

Regarding the question about the Record section, please bear in mind that only the courses that are in a Finished state in the platform appear in the Record section, so you won't be able to reset the student's tracking while they are in that state; you need to reopen the course/session in order to reset the student's trackin. By doing so, the course won't appear in the student's Record and will be in the Open Training again.

Convalidation between Courses in LMS Pack

A consultation on the topic of validation. After reading the link: https://netexlearning.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ML/pages/603783169/Convocatorias of courses, I have a couple of questions:

1. It is assumed that if
a) The course has been set to "Convalidation between editions:Yes", all validations are automatic, is it?
b) If this setting is marked as "Yes" after the editions are launched, will it work correctly for older users (before the setup is enabled)?

2. On the courses page, there is the option of Manually Validate. In what cases is this functionality used? Validate users 20200304.jpg

3. Is there a possibility/forecast to assign this option of Manually Override to Group admin and Tutors?

a) El curso ha sido configurado como "Convalidación entre convocatorias:Sí", todas las convalidaciones son automáticas, ¿es así?
Correcto. Hay que tener en cuenta que las convalidaciones se recalculan de forma asíncrona, por lo que pueden tardar unos minutos en mostrarse con el estado correcto.


b) Si se marca esta configuración como "Sí" después de lanzadas las convocatorias, ¿funcionará correctamente para los usuarios antiguos (antes de la configuración activada)?
Correcto, e igual que en el anterior, los resultados pueden tardar en mostrarse con el estado correcto.


2. En la página de cursos, hay la opción de Convalidar manualmente. ¿En qué casos se utiliza esta funcionalidad? Convalidar usuarios 20200304.jpg
Si por cualquier razón se desea que un usuario tenga convalidado un curso sin haber cursado exactamente el que está disponible en el lms.


3. ¿Hay la posibilidad/previsión de asignar esta opción de Convalidar manualmente a Adm de Grupo y Tutores?
El administrador de grupo actualmente ya puede convalidar manualmente. Los turores no pueden (no hay tampoco previsión de añadir esa opción).

My training. Include listing view

The current view of My Training, where each course/plan is a quadrant, is a bit uncomfortable when the user has many courses/plans; forces you to have to navigate a bunch of pages to get a view of all the formations you're assigned to. It would be nice to offer the possibility to view the courses in list format, so that they occupy less and offer a more generic view.

It would also be nice to be able to group the view of the courses by folders, e.g. collections.

Ampliación del almacenamiento del suspend data en el LMS

Un proveedor de un cliente nos envía un curso publicado en Scorm 1.2 y no esta guardando correctamente los datos de seguimiento. El proveedor nos envía la siguiente cuestión a ver si es posible realizar la modificación:

SCORM 1.2 format has a limit of 4096 characters in a file that stores data about the user's course (suspend data).

If the course has a large number of slides and SCORM 1.2 format, information about slides viewed after a particular slide in the LMS will not be saved due to this limitation.

Recommendation: expand the suspend data storage to 64,000 characters in the settings of your LMS.

Add a message confirming an error or success in the process when updating a published activity.

Taking into account that updating a SCORM activity is a practice to be avoided and it is recommended to publish a new activity that reflects the changes made to the new version, sometimes we need to update a published activity with small changes keeping the original structure of the published activity. 

When I performe the operation in these specific cases, this process finishes without any alert : Error in process or processed succesfully. And this is a great limitation of the features of the LMS module of NetexCloud.

It is important to get this feedback from the platform after uploading the file in order to confirm if the activity has been updated successfuly or if it hasn't.

Parent courses in search

When we use the advanced course enrollment report search, when searching the ID field if you enter the course ID it does not lsearch for the value entered. However, you will find the Editions for the courses without problems. Can you please include the search for the parent courses, too?
